Film producer Harvey Weinstein, who was recently sentenced to 23 years in prison, has been infected with the coronavirus. The head of the New York prison staff union reported this on Sunday evening. The 68-year-old Weinstein is currently incarcerated at the Wende Correctional Facility in upstate New York. After the test turned out to be positive on Sunday morning, Weinstein was immediately placed in isolation. Another prisoner of Wende has also been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.
