Comedian Peter Pannekoek would like to make a horror film, he said in an interview with Trouw on Saturday. The 33-year-old comedian explains where his love for the horror genre comes from. "It is, besides comedy, the only genre that unleashes pure emotion. Isn't it strange that you get all the praise and are nominated for awards if you have made something beautiful, sweet or cute, while a brilliant, horrific film rarely gets attention? And it has nothing to do with aggression; it just makes me happy when someone comes up with something original."
