Carice van Houten meldde zichzelf aan voor Emmy-nominatie'
Carice van Houten was nominated for her first Emmy this week, but if she had not registered herself, this would never have happened. HBO had not signed the actress, writes The Hollywood Reporter. HBO has signed up actors in a number of categories, but chose not to do so with the Dutch actress. Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy) and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) were also not registered by the channel and decided to register themselves. The film site writes that 225 dollars (about 200 euros) had to be paid to register the actors for the nomination. It happens more often that actors register themselves, but it rarely happens that those actors receive a nomination.
