Amazon has released a teaser for Undone, a special animated series. Undone is the first television series to use rotoscoping animation, with visual rhythms very different from the mainstream computer graphics approach to animation that dominates Hollywood productions. Amsterdam-based production company Submarine brought together a team of painters and artists from across Europe to bring multimedia elements to the screen visuals, including vibrant backgrounds of oil paintings on canvas. Undone will debut on Amazon Prime Video later this year, with the first two episodes showing Saturday at the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas. The series was created by Kate Purdy and Raphael Bob-Waksberg.
