Roman Polanski klaagt Academy aan en eist lidmaatschap terug'

Roman Polanski is suing the Academy and demanding his membership back in the organization behind the Oscars, TMZ reports. According to new legal documents, the director claims that the Academy has not, as previously promised, reversed its decision to strip him of his membership. Instead, the organization refused to let him return last January. Polanski was expelled from the Academy in May 2018, at the same time as Bill Cosby, over allegations of rape and sexual abuse.
