Between March 23 and 31, Book Week takes center stage in bookstores, libraries and at the NPO. NPO will put no fewer than nine book adaptations in the spotlight on NPO Start between March 23 and March 31. Theme channel NPO 2 extra broadcasts a well-known book film adaptation every day at 8:30 PM during the Book Week. During Book Week, book buyers receive the free Book Week gift, written this year by Jan Siebelink. One of the book adaptations to be broadcast is Kneeling on a Bed of Violins, the film based on Siebelink's first bestseller.
