Sources report that Netflix has paid $100 million to air the 10 seasons of the popular sitcom Friends. In addition to Netflix, Apple, Disney, Fox, NBCU, Hulu and WarnerMedia have also bid on the series. The last broadcast of Friends dates back to 2004, but is still popular among many viewers. The old series will be broadcast on Netflix in 2019.
