Leading storyboard artist William Simpson, known for his work on the worldwide hit series Game of Thrones, will come to the Dutch Film Festival in Utrecht for a masterclass during the NFF Professionals Program on October 1. The Northern Irishman started as an illustrator for Batman and Hellblazer and switched to storyboards for films such as Reign of Fire and Unknown. For Game of Thrones, where he was initially asked to design the weapons for the series, he quickly became partly responsible for the overall appearance of the international television series.
