34 film projects will receive an incentive from the budget of the new Film Production Incentive in the Netherlands (Netherlands Film Production Incentive) for a total amount of 8.5 million euros. A total of 47.9 million in production expenditure will be realized in the Netherlands for these 34 film projects. 37 applications were submitted for the first round of the new Incentive Measure. 3 projects were unable to meet the conditions in time and were withdrawn. 21 of the 34 successful applications are international co-productions of feature films and documentaries, involving a Dutch producer with a majority or minority share in the financing. The 13 other applications are for Dutch film productions, of which 4 film productions do involve international co-financing.
