Jan Jaap van der Wal provides the commentary in the new documentary 11 Friese Fonteinen by director Roel van Dalen. The film will be shown from May 24 in film theaters in Friesland and a number of cinemas in the rest of the country. Roel van Dalen followed the art project 11Fountains for two years. As part of Leeuwarden Capital of Culture 2018, international artists are building a fountain in eleven Frisian cities. Van der Wal, born in Leeuwarden, moves into Friesland and gives his humorous commentary on the process.
