The cinema film De Wilde Stad has achieved Golden Film status and attracted more than 100,000 visitors to the cinema since its release on March 1. With De Wilde Stad, the makers of De Nieuwe Wildernis and Holland, Natuur in de Delta show urban nature from the perspective of the many unnoticed wild animals and plants. The Golden Film was presented by the Dutch Film Fund and the Dutch Film Festival to the film hangover Abatutu and director Mark Verkerk. The Wild City is the third film this year to achieve Golden Film status.
