Actor John Gavin has died. He died at the age of 86 at his home in Beverly Hills surrounded by his family. The actor reached his peak in the 1950s and 1960s. He starred in the horror classic Psycho and was seen as Julius Caesar in Spartacus. Gavin won a Golden Globe for his role in A Time To Love And A Time To Die. After his career, Gavin was president of the Screen Actors Guild for several years. In the 1980s he became ambassador to Mexico under President Ronald Reagan.
