‘Flexwerk holt Nederlandse welvaart uit’'
Flex contracts have a strongly negative impact on wages in the Netherlands and therefore expenditure and prosperity. Two researchers from De Nederlandsche Bank and the economics journal ESB have come to that conclusion. Private consumption per capita has 'effectively stagnated' since 2002, with countries around us achieving strong growth. A blog post on the ESB site shows that private expenditure has hardly moved since then.
