The board of directors of the Producers Guild of America, a trade association of film and television producers, has developed guidelines that are shared with all board members. The guidelines state what constitutes sexual harassment and a hostile work environment, plus advice on how to avoid unpleasant situations on and off the film set. It also states who people can turn to if they find themselves in an unpleasant situation at work. Two people are appointed, a man and a woman, who can contact the cast and crew as a confidant if they are victims or witnesses of intimidation.
