Producers Maarten Bartstra and Willem van Thiel have started a new production agency together: Binky. The new production house Binky “develops formats and produces programs for large and small screens,” say Bartstra and Van Thiel. According to the founders, the company focuses specifically on the online market, but also works for various public and commercial broadcasters. Van Thiel was head of program development at broadcaster BNNVARA and previously worked at Endemol and Blue Circle, Bartstra also worked at Blue Circle.
