Peter Faber was vroeger 'bang' voor taal'
Actor Peter Faber had no interest in language when he was young. "I used to be afraid of language, because it had to do with big people and serious matters," the actor tells NU.nl. Meanwhile, Faber, who has a role in the book adaptation Taal Is Zeg Maar Echt Mijn Ding, thinks differently about this. "For me, language is not my thing, but I have come to love it. I really love poems, like those by Shakespeare." In the film, which is based on the book of the same name by Paulien Cornelisse, Faber plays the father of journalist Anne (Fockeline Ouwerkerk).
