In an interview with Marketing Tribune, Ster director Frank Volmer states that things will go smoothly with tens of millions less turnover in the coming years, as has been predicted by politicians. Volmer says the numbers are incorrect and a "negotiation game" is currently being played. De Ster will introduce a new rate structure next year, in which agency and volume discounts will no longer apply. Such discounts are already incorporated in new fixed prices, which should make negotiations simpler.
