Amazon has purchased the worldwide rights to the Dutch series Nieuwe Buren. The American company has selected the series for the label Amazon Prime brings EU TV shows to the world. Amazon has acquired all rights, except in the Benelux and the United Kingdom. RTL/Videoland owns the rights in the Benelux and in the United Kingdom they are owned by Channel 4.
So far, the series has had two seasons. The third series is in the making and will be shown on Videoland next year.
