A culture of abuse, humiliation and subjugation is said to prevail in the film studio of Danish director Lars von Trier. Nine women have shared their experiences with a major Danish newspaper. The director is one of the founders of studio Zentropa, but his name is not explicitly mentioned in the women's allegations, according to The Guardian. The accusations point to Peter Aalbæk Jensen, who is not only a co-founder but also owns 25 percent of the company. Jensen is alleged to have been guilty of, among other things, touching and insulting female employees.
