The first shooting for the Viking film Redbad by director Roel Reiné took place in the PreHistoric Village in Eindhoven. In recent days, the open-air museum turned into a real film set. American actor Jonathan Banks, also known as Mike Ehrmantraut in the famous series Breaking Bad and its spin-off Better Call Saul, plays a villain: King Pippin of the Franks.
