The series Soof: a new beginning will almost certainly get a second season. This is reported by producer Millstreet Films. The decision for a sequel is remarkable, because the first season does not start until November. "However, the initial reactions are so positive that we have no doubt that there will be a second series," says a spokeswoman for Millstreet Films. The cast of the series is almost identical to that of the two hit films. In any case, Lies Visschedijk, Fedja van Huet, Dan Karaty, Anneke Blok and Dick van den Toorn will return. New names in the cast are Elise Schaap and Barbara Sloesen.
