The NFF announced the winners of the NFF Student and NFF Debut Competition during the presentation of the Talent Awards in the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht. With the competitions, for which 40 and 21 productions were selected respectively, the NFF offers a platform to Dutch filmmakers of the future. Winners of the NFF Student Competition are Noah Suhartono for How to Uninstall Life (Tuschinski Award), Marie-Anne Faustinelli for Maar Als Alles Zo Denkt (Special Jury Award) and Maxime Rozestraten (Film Producers Netherlands Award). The Film Prize of the City of Utrecht, the prize for the best debut film, has been awarded to Sophie Dros for Genderbende.
