A scout for the popular Netflix series Narcos has been shot dead in Mexico while looking for suitable shooting locations for the fourth season of the series. The body of Carlos Munoz Portal was found in his car in a rural area of central Mexico. The motive for the shooting is still unclear and Mexican authorities are investigating. The region where Portal was found struggles with a lot of gang violence and is known for its high murder rate. Portal had a good name in the film world. He worked for the films Spectre, Fast & Furious and Apocalypto, among others.
