The short animated film Bullet Time by Frodo Kuipers, produced by Merlijn Passier, has been selected to be submitted on behalf of the Netherlands to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in the Animated Short Film category. The film has a chance to win an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, or an Oscar. The film was chosen by the Oscar selection committee for Animated Short Film, consisting of delegates from the Holland Animation Film Festival, the KLIK – Amsterdam Animation Festival and the Animation Producers Netherlands (ApN).
