The television archive of Sound and Vision will partly become available to the public. This concerns material from 5 to 25 years old, depending on the genre. News and sports, for example, become accessible sooner than documentaries, drama or music programs. Due to copyrights, it has not previously been possible to grant public access to archive images. Only program makers could use fragments from old programs.
