American actor John Heard recently passed away. He was 72 years old. Heard has played roles in many well-known Hollywood films, the most famous of which is his role as Peter McCallister in the Home Alone films. He also appeared in Gladiator, The Pelican Brief and The Trip to Bountiful. He played in more than 170 productions in total. According to Heard's spokesperson, the actor recently underwent minor back surgery and was staying at the hotel to recover.
