Minister Stef Blok (Security and Justice) does not expect that the "blur order" will have added value, he wrote on Thursday in a response to the proposal. He calls it “undesirable” and “not necessary.” Then-PvdA MP Ahmed Marcouch submitted the motion in response to a number of videos on the internet showing the police being provoked by filming.
